Following discussions led by chief executive Martin Glenn, The FA today confirms that ticket prices for the 2016 Emirates FA Cup Final at Wembley have been reduced by £5 across all price points. In addition, tickets for this year’s semi-final matches revert back to 2014 prices.

An FA Board proposal to increase allocations for the competing clubs has been agreed. Currently, the two clubs are entitled to 25,500 tickets each. Increasing this number to 28,650 tickets per team is a significant step forward and is equivalent to 80 per cent of the available seats rather than the previous 71 per cent.

Everton have almost 27,000 season ticket holders for the 2015/16 campaign - almost a quarter of them are young Evertonians. So if we get to the final, there should be a ticket for every season ticket holder. More tickets are available for the semi-final.

Realistically I think the draw will be from Palace, United and Arsenal. Would prefer Palace but don't want to draw Arsenal.

I want to point out that presuming Arsenal and United make top six and we qualify for the final and play them we'll qualify for the Europa League even if we lose.

And here are the prices and allocations from 2014.

14 Mar 2014 The Football Association has confirmed the ticket prices and club allocations for next month’s FA Cup Semi-Finals at Wembley Stadium. It’s the fourth year in a row that FA Cup Semi-Final ticket prices have been frozen with four stadium seating categories ranging from £30-£60.

Saturday’s fixture on 12 April, which kicks-off at 5pm, will see The FA Cup holders Wigan Athletic given an allocation of 22,807 while Arsenal receive 42,882. The Latics’ allocation has been mutually agreed between the club and The FA and is based on their supporter numbers at last season’s FA Cup Semi-Final and Final, plus the Community Shield in August.

The following day sees Hull City receive 32,011 tickets while Sheffield United have been given an allocation of 31,796. Sheffield United’s allocation is slightly smaller due to the West side of the stadium’s segregation divide.

Hull City – 32,011
Category 1 - £60 - 3,941
Category 2 - £50 - 13,252
Category 3 - £40 - 9,886
Category 4 - £30 - 4,932
Wheelchair Spaces - 100
Personal Assistant Seats - 100
Ambulent/Visually Impaired - 100

I know there's a semi final to be played first, just thinking ahead. Can see a Everton v Arsenal final, Moshiri vs Usmanov. Imagine Moshiri coming out on top of it all with a trophy after only a few months. What an investment.

can't get much more Greek than that..ahem...I like it

I don't really care who we get

Games against teams similar to Crystal Palace and Watford is where we've had most of our problems this season. We've done better against the bigger teams (The Man Utd game at Goodison was a strage day for non footballing reasons so there was extenuating circumstances there).

So I'm OK with whoever we get.

It's my nieces christening that weekend so praying it's a saturday.

Would I be a bad uncle if I [Poor language removed] it off and went to the match anyway?
