FA Cup Final Thread - Tickets/Travel/Meet Ups Etc

Arteta might still be in Spain for this. He is there now with his girlfriend who is set to give birth any day now...i hope that baby's born within the next few days.

I want him at the final :(

even tho we are at the other end of the stadium i still think everton will have the majority of the boozers like the greenman and the greyhound etc. but if you want one are end of the ground were you can watch the game it has to be silverspoons but it cost's £10 for a ticket for it.
 
its just said on setanta that the build up starts at 9am what will they doing/showing all from 9 to kick off wonder if they will be doing what they used to do interview the players on the coach and get a helicopter following the team coach from the hotel to the ground i will have to sky+ it all coz am going.
 
Can coaches get Sky/Setanta? Hope so.

Driving on the way back i drove next to a coach to watch the Highlights on ITV :)...Should be good watching the 6 hour build up on the way there.

Just spoke to my English mate, who's a member of the ESCLA. Apparently we're going for the pre-match drink in the 'Old Bell' pub in Kilburn. Don't think it's too far from Wembley Park, so will have plenty of time to sniff up the pre-match atmosphere.
 
No idea what pub I'm going to until i get there. Wont have a ticket so i just hope i get a decent place to watch it from.
I will be traveling there alone, as my mate who usually travels with me cant go. There is no way I'm letting the fact i have to make the journey alone stop me from going to this. :D So if anyone wants to meet up give me a shout (y) Would be nice to put faces to the names on here.

What time are you arriving in London, mate?
 
My mate entered the ballot today for non season ticket holders and because hes in the army hes only been to the arsenal and all the home fa cup games + the semi do you think he will get a ticket? hope he does like but got my doubts its hard enuff with it being a ballot
 
I picked my tickets up today.
Looks like I'm in the upper tier,bit much I think for £58.65 but at least I'm gonna be there.
Was anyone in that section for the semi and are binoculars and oxygen a necessity up there?:unsure:
I was next to the VIP area for the semi and the view was superb there.
