'GOTBall'!

I went to Bradford City v Aldershot on Saturday, Aldershot started well faded a bit but still went in 1-0 ahead at halftime. Bradford got themselves organised in the second half and won 3-1, decent ground and 3 pubs in the city centre that did CAMRA discount.

Awful when you see 4 Fletchers died together. Then you see that Messrs. Greenwood, Ormondroyd and Stockman each took their two children and none of them went home. Horrific stuff.

So today it’s Birmingham City who are being followed, having beaten Sutton in the last round.
They are away to Blackpool , score is currently 1-2 to Birmingham ,who started as favourite given the amount they've spent on their team and their league position.
This is Everton interest in the Blackpool team , with our u21 goalkeeper Harry Tyrer in goal on loan to Blackpool and former player Matt Pennington in the Blackpool defence.

Seriously, any mathematicians amongst us, what are the odds ?

I asked a chum.... yes I have one .... wot does maffs:

"They are not consecutive seasons, and ignoring the 2 cups in 2016, assuming it doesn't have to be those particular 3 teams, and that they meet in the 1st round of the FA Cup (impossible because Ipswich weren't in it in 2013), you could say the chance was 0.0000000244%, or 1 in 4,096,000,000"

Brilliant, thanks

It finished Blackpool 1-2Birmingham , I wish I’d watched it instead of Everton 😕
And today Birmingham progressed into the 4th round by beating Lincoln 2-1 , so I’ll see who they get in the next round.. Birmingham will be a tough draw for any team who gets them away , so likely us 🙄.

While this seemed a great thread to start all those months back with Punjab United I must confess that I lost a bit of interest and forgot about the thread recently with all the goings on at Everton 🤷‍♂️.
