I find f1 weird. In football we make a massive scene over battles for 7th and relegation towards the end of the season.

It’s only really Netflix who have built the mid field battles up. Fans seem to get stressed out that 1 driver wins most races. If you can somehow forget that the race for 2nd or the race between Williams and haas can be cool to follow.

Agreed. It's like saying you can't enjoy an early round in a knockout competition as a sporting event unless the team / competitor that wins goes on to win the entire thing.

There's some fantastic scraps up and down the grid within a race and over the course of a season for constructors places.

Brundle and crofty are such whoppers talking about russel closing the gap on Verstappen at the same time verstappen pulls 1.5 second a lap on him.
