AlphaTauri's new name: F1 team rebrands as Visa Cash App RB in big change ahead of 2024 season

Once Toro Rosso, then AlphaTauri, and now Visa Cash App RB as Red Bulls Italian-based team announce what they will now be known as; Payment giant Visa becomes global partner for both Red Bull-owned F1 teams; Visa Cash App RBs new livery to be revealed at Las Vegas launch on February 8

Not technically this season but the Madrid street circuit they are replacing Barcelona with looks utter gash and just helps validates my boycott from watching this sport, which like PL football is happy to sell its soul to the devil and eat itself from within.

Yeah, that is not a good name, or going down well with anyone:

At least "Stake" had a recent for calling the team that.

Really hoping someone can be at least competitive with Verstappen, but not holding my breath. Expecting McClaren and Merc to make decent/big strides forward, but RB had such a stroll last year I fear it could be a repeat of Brawn or the first year or Mercs dominance, where they're basically a second ahead of everyone else. Feel like it's either that, or McC/Merc/Ferrari(?) will be 1/2 tenths off, and then hopefully at least some ppl will win a few races, keep it at least vaguely interesting for the WDC.

McLaren finished strong last season but its believed that Red Bull had stopped developing their car and were focusing on this seasons car. Merc going in a completely different direction than the W14 so it could be a few races before (if) they get a handle on the new setups. Looking forward to next month for the unveils even though you'll never see those cars on track. They'll already be upgraded before the first test.
