it's quite common around A1 ring for the cars to be super close in qualifying but the pole car to actually show a significant race pace advantage

Verstappen should be untouchable tomorrow, I reckon

I guess it’s quite a short lap (1.05ish) so difficult to build up big gaps in one lap

I’d be pretty annoyed if I was Gasly. He would have qualified for Q3 if the FIA actually did their jobs and deleted his time during qualifying

The stewarding is arguably worse this season.

Next time they start waffling at a drivers briefing they should all walk out.

Is Mercedes' engine the worst in F1 now? The Mercs seem to have been down on straight line speed all year - it's left them having to be defensive on many occasions all season

Don't agree with that penalty for Russell. Also don't get how Sainz can get away with going off the track and then taking back third at the start.

It seems so.

They simply don't have enough umph on the straight lines to get past people. When you consider how much effort they'd supposedly put in, it's shocking.
