That was a great race, especially given it looked like we could have some horrible news right at the beginning. Pleased for Sainz to get the win and Lewis to get a podium. Good recovery from Perez too.

I was thinking that too. He looked very quick on the hards and his tyres were quite a bit fresher. Although he would have had to pass Sainz which could have put Leclerc too far ahead. Shame they messed up his pit stop as he would have been right amongst it if they hadn’t.

Great race today especially after the SC restart - doubt we'll see much better racing for a good while. Only thing missing was a spot of rain at some point

Really emphasises the need to narrow the competitiveness gap between the teams and look at which courses consistently serve up processions once the 1st lap is done with. What a season we'd be having if Mercedes hadn't got their car wrong and Ferrari were a little more reliable....or RB less so.

Even better seeing Zhou Guanyu up and about in the paddock at the end.

leclarc has more patience and temper then me. I wouldn't of stood for that idiot ferrari boss waving finger in my face lol. they really screwed him over today. congratz to carlos though glad he got his first win over with finally.

I think Hamilton would probably still only have finished 2nd if we didn't have that late SC, as I think Leclerc would have been safe enough up the road, especially when we saw what a hard time the Merc had passing on the main straight.


Have to say that Perez has been a thorn in Hamilton's side for a couple of years now. Hamilton quite often struggles when racing him.
