I wonder why they haven't show the in car footage of Verstappens car at turn 4? Every other angle had been shown, except the one that shows him straighten up mid corner. Does make you think.

Also, his obvious weaving (cheating) followed by his petulant response to the stewards when they found some balls and gave the B+W flag.

He's an awful creature.

Hamilton has kept the championship within his own destiny with that drive.

The gap being 15 points, if he wins all 3 remaining races he will retain the WDC regardless. A big difference to the 28 points it would have been if he hadn't managed to overtake Max.


The pace of the Mercedes was absolutely stunning today.. surely gives him a chance of making that happen.. although IMO Max is still a strong favourite

He definitely does, he is a machine and a very tough competitor. A little too tough tbh. If he was willing to go side by side instead of chopping at every instance it would be a wonderful spectacle. You saw a couple of races ago (I think Turkey) Lewis and Perez go around a few corners together and Norris but just no chance with Max as he initiates contact or you have to leave the track. The joke is then he complains when anyone else tries to do that to him.

Yeah I gotta say that Verstappen drove brilliantly, his snide block aside. Lewis went through the field like a hot knife through butter, but it took all of his skill and car advantage to finally wrestle the race away from Max.

IMO we are watching the current GOAT, and someone who may be his equal and has every chance to challenge him for that title in time.

Max is still is a very dirty racer, but there's no denying his talent. I really do hope that if there's another block like that the stewards heavily penilise him. He's got away with far too much through the course of his career.

I don't think he is going to do something silly like he would've in the past, so it will come down to any car problems and can Bottas finish ahead of Max when the track favours Mercedes.
