Merc can pit Bottas early to trigger the RBs to respond, and let Hamilton run long. That would be how I would play it

He won't even try mate. He'll get it close to 1 second gap if he can then go for the undercut and a one stopper.

I think they're gambling that if they get track position on Red Bull then they'll struggle to get past even with a tyre advantage late on.
