Ex-players who you miss seeing in the Royal Blue

Yeah as in...pass it, pass it, don't run at them and shoot.
Ahh but that is the lukaku tactic. Rooney at 18/19 is a young quick lad who has no fear and can drive at teams. With barkely and del as previously mentioned in the team, it would make a massive difference to the way we play. Lukaku being there, through no fault of his own, slows the attack down because martinez sees him as a centre forward. Young rooney would be the one who completed one of the most deadly young attack force in the league
 
Gary Lineker. As a footballer the most clinical finisher I have seen in the royal blue of Everton.

Perhaps his lack of recognition of time spent here clouds judgement but there's not been a time in the last 30 years he would not have walked into the Everton team.

I'd have any of the 84/85 and 1985/86 team back in an instant.
