I dont believe what im reading in here! Pistone was a tremendous footballer! Just not a great defender if that makes sense... Both Pistone and Valente were horrendously injury prone though.

Naysmith was very good in his first season for us. He did go rather downhill but he wasnt THAT bad.

If 'Pistone was a tremendous footballer', then leighton baines is basically the outcome of God and Superman having a bang. But if we're saying that naysmith gets a pass i'll try another.... How about 'Preki'? surely nobodies gonna object there? He was proper soggy biscuits.
 
I absolutely loved Nuno. Not sure why he's got stick here. Took him a while to settle but when he did he was class.
 

Can't believe a couple of people have mentioned Neville. Need their heads examining to put him in with this sort of company.

By the way, we've had some truly TERRIBLE right backs...
