...England are 8-11 favourites to win tomorrow's U20 World Cup Final. Venezuela are 15-11.
..Reds in the pub this afternoon were seriously of the opinion that their lads have got us to the final. It's all about Ojo and Solanke. Wish they would just watch a game properly.
Saying that, I'd be chuffed if Ojo and Solanke score tomorrow.
BBC 2 10.45 according to this..It's on the BBC?
@Eggs You're a fan of Dowell but say he doesn't impose himself on a game. A game changer but inconsistent.
Would you give him a run in the first team?
Hadn't previously noticed Ojo in this tournament, our lads has smashed it. However he was absolutely superb the other night after coming on.
While the U20 World Cup has been great experience for all of our lads, I'm concerned that it will limit their pre-season minutes in the first team. Having said that, their winning mentality may well be what propels some of them into our first 11....personally, I'd never use a first team game as a trial match. Although I'm a Dowell fan, I also recognise the manager has a system and style of play that players have to fit into. Saying that, I'd have thought it worth having him on the bench by this stage ready to bring on if a game is comfortable or if the team are in need of a goal.

For me Dowell could be considered along Deulofeu- a real talent but one who will not get a role under Koeman.
Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Hopefully Walsh gets a chance as well. These lads should get enough rest. I worry more that Holgate may miss out because u21 tournament hasn't started yet and if England do well he'll still need a break after it.
Kenny, Lookman and Calvert-Lewin will all be in and about first match day squad of season. I think Connolly and Dowell will get chances in pre season and it will be how they perform in them as to whether they join first team go out on loan or stay in u23's.
