He’s leaving in the summer
A bit daft we only gave him a 2 year contract as he was in the England set up when he signed it. From his perspective, it’s not easy at 19 getting a decent contract with another club as he’s unproven in men’s football, you’d have thought he’d take a new contract with us on decent wages and go out on loan at League2 level.

I do find it difficult to judge young goalkeepers though. He seems to be of a similar standard to Harry Tyrer at the same age and he’s now 2/3rd choice keeper at League 1 Cardiff.

Yeh I dunno, I can't say I'd be that bothered if he left, he's okay, isn't as good at his age as Tyrer was for me.

Tyrer going to Cardiff is a strange one to be honest, especailly as Trott has been the best GK in that league this season, they will be going up to the Championship so I'd presume they would either try and get Trott in, or strengthen that position.

I know you cant pick who comes in for you, but someone like Bolton or Stockport would of made more sense

Would have been nice to see him stick around and get a loan, but I have as much, if not more faith in Dougie Lukj and Seve going forward, and I assume Savaas will be getting some regular game time for the U18s next year, so we’re covered at the youth level without him.
