I tell you what though, Patterson is someone who improves every time you see him.

Not saying premier league level but looks like one of our classic tidy youth dm’s again.

Hell of a corner from Thomas.

I wonder how often you see a centre back taking corners at any level!

He’s one I see having a genuine chance here, just looks the part with the ball.

MoM so far is Jose Baxter , so refreshing having someone who understands youth football instead of the two dinosaurs yelling to “ hoof it from the back like they did in my day “ . And Jose talking about “ overloads “ , Snods thinks that’s what Diamond does on Christmas Dsy .

Spot on this. Always a much more enjoyable watch when Baxter or Chadwick do it.

Jose's getting a bit of a push to be more front and centre given hes 'only' the 16s assistant but handled all the media duties for the trip. Seems he's come a long way from back in the day.

I was listening to Nick Chadwick last night , he’s Pathway Development looking after u18s at Wrexham , talking about the challenge of developing their Academy from scratch . Very good, very interesting.
