Hearts have a core of 18 to 20 years that are decent brough through by a certain Steven Naismith Billy Mcluckie,James Wilson, Macualy Tait, Finlany Pollock that is a club you would want to link into due to the academy system that is decent.

We certainly seem to have a Scout/ scouting system actively looking at u16s in Scotland, last year we took Cieran Loney from Partick Thistle at 16. They’re low risk/ low cost signings. I’d like to see us compete in future for bigger , young name signings in Scotland in the way that the RS and Chelsea took Boak and Gilmour from the Old Firm very cheaply . Scottish players are generally cheap, but it doesn’t always work as the RS found when they bought the the then 18 year old Calvin Ramsey from Aberdeen for millions, I won’t mention other full backs in case Davek has his fume - radar switched on.
