Nsangou has made it 3-2

Looks like his 3rd game but last 2 for 30mins total must have been subs.

Great to see a 15 year old do so well on what i assume is a full debut at that level.

Not sure which player actually holds the record for this, but I'm pretty sure this makes him the youngest U18 starter in a good while. Small, Lawrence and Gordon were all older when making their full 18s debut.
I forgot Ishe who at 15 and 2 months would be the man to beat. Depends whether Nsangou is a Jan or Feb birthday as he is a 2010 internationally.

Up the Everton Jugend! Hope they have a better future than the Hitler Jugend!

Has him listed as a Right MF, but I thought he was normally playing more as a second striker?
Am I way off base there?

Again, I rarely trust transfermarkt when it comes to youth info. Based on the line up from the game today I would assume Foster/Akarakiri as the pivots with Nsangou as the central attacking AM/SS…. Similar role to I think where Robert plays, which makes for a potentially interesting logjam of riches.

Everton Under-18s earned a stunning comeback victory over Leeds United on Saturday afternoon, responding from 2-0 down to take all three points in a 3-2 win at Finch Farm.

A goal on the half-hour mark from Demi Akarakiri, along with a second-half brace for Jonathan Nsangou – in his first start for the Under-18s – were the crucial contributions for the Toffees.

Keith Southern’s young Blues had conceded early in the Under-18 Premier (North) contest, falling to a 15th-minute from Kenneth Mensah. Oliver Boast then extended the lead for the visitors on 23 minutes.

Searching for a quick response, Toffees midfielder Akarakiri pulled one back seven minutes later – the 16-year-old’s second league goal of his maiden campaign on Merseyside.

Down at the interval, Nsangou – a current intentional for Poland Under-15s – notched a leveller for the Toffees on 58 minutes.

Dealt a blow shortly after, Justin Clarke was dismissed after receiving a second yellow card.

But the Blues kept going – and Nsangou netted his second on 75 minutes, making it 3-2 to Everton – a lead the young Toffees were able to hold on to until the final whistle.

The win keeps Everton in the top four of the league table, level on points with Derby County in third.

….from clips I’ve seen, he looks quite small. With that in mind, not sure about the central striker position but what I like about such youngsters is they’re not ahead of their age group because of physicality, they’re ahead because of their quality. Not sure how he’s playing for Poland.

Certainly one to watch.

Yep I’d agree with that , that’s about my take on Nsangou . So far he’s been operating in an attacking position both for us and England u15 s , scoring goals for both. As an u15 it’s difficult to tell what size he’ll eventually be but he doesn’t look like a no9 , more of a Graham type than a Loney .

Great point Eggs about quality negating size, but having never seen him play what are those qualities, speed, skill, strength ??
