7 goals 6 assists in 15 PL2 games according to Transfermarkt. Poss a Champ loan for him next season? Sure they'll probably sell him for £20m+ the season after that...

Yes I think he was the midfield player I’m get confused because of the names, the player I’m thinking of came on as a sum v Notts Forest and Wolves in FA Youth cup games and played on the wing.

No this kid is still at school. Benjamin came from Arsenal last summer and is in the U 21 squad.

I think you mean Malik Olayiwola who’s come off the bench in the Youth Cup . Still at School but established himself with England u16s and is now starting regularly in our u18s. He may well have covered a wing position when coming on from the bench but he’s played as a defensive midfielder at. 8 when he’s started. So far I’d say he’s our most promising u16 .

A quiet Friday. I answered this question in another thread . This is a more appropriate thread for exploring the question and my answer. Thoughts?

“Just curious. Which academy coaches do you think I should be changed?”
Me :
“A bit controversial this but Paul Tait the u21s coach and Keith Southern , Tait’s prodigy, moved from u21s to u18s coach. I just don’t see any progress in style at our u21s and I believe the u18s have regressed since Baines moved out and Southern in. One for discussions in another thread though mate, I’m sure some will disagree!”

At best we’re sticking with 4-2-4 at worst it’s 4-1-5 . Could be a long afternoon for Patterson and Heath . On paper we should be beating Villa , they’re next to bottom in PL2 and don’t seem to have won in 6 games .
