The variety of places he picks the ball up and chances left, right, in the box, with his head that he still finishes, looks very special.

I don't want to say it - but they are very similar stylistically.

…..the difference between Chermiti and Broja.

Chermiti in on goal at an angle shoots straight at the keeper, Broja on the other hand shoots across the keeper as a striker does.

It’s situations like this that make me unconvinced about Chermiti. Although his movement was decent, what he failed to do with the finish is quite basic for a striker.

….yep, which is pretty much what we’ve been suggesting since his training picked-up. Dyche will be very keen to get him involved.

Looking at the U21 game, the contrast with Chermiti is of interest for me. Chermiti in on goal hits it straight at the keeper from an angle, Broja in on goal goes across the keeper from an angle. It’s what the good strikers do.

So your assessment of two players was based upon the comparison of one 3 weeks behind the other coming back from fitness..

….ha, ha it’s something I’ve posted about previously. I remember a game at Goodison (Gwladys St) when he went straight over the bar rather than doing what strikers do in going far post. It’s just an observation.

Looks to have filled out, good size about him and he looks like he can link play. Hopefully Thelwell has unearthed a player but I’m not yet convinced.
