Lewis Bate is still a tidy little player (their number four) was very highly rated at Chelsea at one point wasn’t he?
The telling comments are when commentator says the number of players who played in the Youth Cup against Stockport last season, JBC, Patterson, Bates etc, now they’re playing against men .
He was on loan at MK Dons last season, did well there and a good signing for County
Thought Patterson played well, he’s sprouted up a bit , Bates too. But Butler and Tierney who look comfortable at u21 have struggled

These are league one and the step up is immense.
Everyone’s been caning me in the Dixon thread for defending him not playing but this is why. We haven’t got any standout young players unfortunately. I would say Sherif is the closest and he’s nowhere near.

Good talent, wish we weren’t a bag of sh.. and kids could get minutes when we were comfortable.
Think of all of our youngsters if anyone makes the grade it might be him.
