It was quite encouraging to see 4 u16s on the bench in Charlie Stewart, Luis Gardner , Arian Allen , Doug Lukjanciks . The recent influx of new Scholars didn’t really fill me with any great expectations, maybe these four can make an impression.
ArIan Allen is a tall, pacy attacker with a good goalscoring ability , apparently well thought of and in the clips I’ve seen of him he looks like a talent to watch out for , but we won’t get much official info on him for a while.

Yeah I can't say I have massively high hopes for the current crop just based purely off international call ups and 18s involvement or lackthereof. Armstrong seems to be the highest rated from playing with the 18s a bit last year but even he wasn't promoted as aggressively as these 4 this early on. Promising to see that we have promoted them up though, never seen Allen in the U16 internationals but the other 3 have been in squads. Hopefully a push to retain them given we've lost all our best 16/17 year olds for the past 4 years now
