….was hoping for an impressive & commanding display from Welch but disappointed with both CBs against the pacy SU striker. Okoronkwo looking the difference causing real problems with his directness. Excellent goal. Actually like to see him centrally against the SU no5 who looks quite decent.

Hopefully we get the next goal which might be key to who goes through.

No. Some games are at Goodison every season.

I thought they were doubling up on him when he got the ball.

Still would be nice to see us try something besides playing it him him constantly, this is U18, it should develop the whole team.

Be interesting to see how Sheffield United play him in the second half. I would imagine their full back and centre back have had strict instructions not to let him cut inside onto the right foot.

As we've seen over the years with players like Arjen Robben you can tell them that till their heads pop and sometimes it doesn't work.

Samuels-Smith is playing very intelligently for a 15-year-old. Butterfield is having a good midfield game in exactly a position we need in the first team.

Enjoying watching this for a change! Not seen any of these lads before to be honest but some of them give me hope for our future.

Sheriff only 15 years old was a surprise as he’s looked physically strong and mature. Okoronkwo has been quality and just hope he’s not carrying in with a knock
