Everton Youth Teams Thread

Proper test this. They've got a very strong U23 side. Think you can watch it if you pay a sub to Leeds TV.

Edit: Not being show.

How to watch:

Kick-off is at 19:00. The match will not be streamed on LUTV due to broadcasting restrictions, but there will be highlights available shortly after.

So all our players are home grown, and in the Leeds team tonight are Lewis Bate and Sam Greenwood , who basically cost them more than our whole squad tonight and our expenditure in the summer transfer window put together!
Their expenditure is still nothing to us but we’re being left behind by these clubs at this level.

Leeds are exactly the model we should be following. They’re recruiting really well at all levels. I know of another scouse player in academy football that they’ve got any interest in now as well.

Lewis Bate left Chelsea to be part of it as he can see the commitment they’re making to try and promote from within.

From that Leeds team they've spent sums on the following (bold)...

Klaesson
Moore
Hjelde
Jenkins
Kenneh
Cresswell
Summerville
Bate
Miller
Greenwood
McGurk
Drameh
Gelhardt
McKinstry
Hughes

Easier to pick those they haven't bought in.
