Everton Youth Teams Thread

It’s a good summary of Warrington’s time with us. When he first appeared he looked like a young John Paul Kissock with his long hair , scored a couple of decent goals playing further forward , then seemed to suffer a few small injuries, and this season looked to be in the same mix as Price, Whitaker ,Butterfield, McAlister and not certain of a starting place. The move to a 6/8 has really allowed him to show his range of talents. All credit to Tait too for pushing Onyango further forward and Warrington in to the 6 position for the City game , these changes are rarely done without the coaching and planning of a player to enable it to happen.

Bowler is a style of player we lack at u18s and 23s a natural wide player with a bit of pace ,he definitely seemed to give us another dimension last night on the counter attack

Very talented boy but his desire to stand out last night, for me, ended with lots of attacks coming to nothing with greed. It was a Catch-22 for him though really.

7th placed Everton u18s are away to 8th placed Derby u18s with an 11.30am ko, both have same points, same wins, same draws, but Derby have 1 defeat more from a game played more, Everton have won 5 of the last 7 league games at Derby, but lost 4-1 there last season as well as been knocked out the Youth Cup by Derby [while Everton have won 2 of the last 3 league games or 4 from 5 all comps], A win for either would move them 5th

Everton u18s team

Stewart, Kristensen, Campbell, Lowey, Hagan, Butterfield, Metcalfe, Mils, McAllister, Jagne, Cannon,
Subs Barker, Dobbin ?, Mallon, Quintyne
