....I think you have to distinguish between players who have come through the Academy and expensive youth purchases, often from abroad.

More than a handful i'd say.....Rashford,Greenwood at Utd,Mount among others at Chelsea,City with Foden and others waiting in the wings,Red Cult Alexander Arnold,Gomez.....could go on..Saka is now the Arsenal main attacking outlet for them and he's what....18

Think only Gomez out of what i've mentioned was actually bought in,even then it was a low ball figure...

How many will you be happy with Fella...Harvey Barnes and Justin Thomas at Leicester,Ellis Rowe and Nketiah at Arsenal,Dwight Mcneill at Burnley....Fact is the majority of Prem league sides have at least one academy player as an established starter.....And 6 is more than a handful unless you come from Stoke.....

James Justin was bought in. Nketiah is crap. McNeill is one player at a team.

We've had Rooney, we've had Barkley, we've bought in some like Stones, we tend to have to sell ours eventually.

All teams bring through the odd player that's academy football hit rate.

You can tailor the narrative to suit you how you want fella,fact is our sole academy first teamer is Tom Davies at present and the majority of other sides have better academy players performing at present....

I included one bought in player...Justin Thomas at Leicester is an academy player,not James Justin.....
Even including bought in academy players we don't have any that seem ready for the 1st team at present,last one being DCL,bought in or not most other teams have better academy players playing first team football at present.

Justin Thomas is a golfer.

We bought in Holgate, Stones, DCL to the academy. Aren't they first team ready players?
