Winning at under age is not all important, getting players ready to step into the first team is.
Our under 23 teams have been successful in recent years and we have had a lot of good young players but it seems to me that the gap between them moving from the under age team and being ready for the first team is maybe wider than it should be.

He was actually too old for the age group and was playing under some special dispensation. However he has been in non of the squads since the turn of the year so I suspect it may have expired. Or alternatively he's injured as club never lets us know these things on youth players!!
