Everton want German left-back

According to reports, Everton are interested in signing Hertha Berlin left-back Marvin Plattenhardt.

Plattenhardt currently plays for Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin and is part of Germany's World Cup squad.

Dont know much about him.... actually i dont know anything about him apart has some ze german caps.
If he is a starter fair enough. But he is nearly 27. Baines is finished as a starter. What a great player for us but watching him last 2 seasons his performances have been bang average to poor.
