Agree %, but it mightn't work if our players read GOT, lol.

I feel crazy for saying this but I would personally take the gamble and start Iwobi, when he's on he's on, but when he is bad... well, it's bad.
I agree; You're crazy!!

One good game in 50 (total Everton appearances - not sure) is a two percent strike rate, so not sure how you feel when he's on he's on?

I guess my comment should have said Iwobi doesn't show any sort of consistency in his play, but there have been games where it noticeable in his play that he is holding his own, where more times than not we are begging for him to be subbed off. I am in no way saying Iwobi is a good player, but with our current squad and their recent performances, you have to get creative and try different things. There's also a good reason why I'm posting on a forum and not standing on the sidelines. So take it as you will :pint2:

Think he'd have to play in a narrow diamond to accommodate him, something like;

Allan
VdB, Doucoure
Alli
Rich DCL

But DCL has looked so off it I wouldn't start until for the rest of the season at this rate, and it would mean Gordon being benched and Gray not playing. Think he'll remain an option off the bench later on in the game, and if we stay up we'll likely see a formation change next year to accommodate him.
Yeah we’d have to sacrifice wingers to get him in the team.

Think he will pick: Pickford, Coleman, Godfrey, Keane, Kenny, Allan, Doucoure, VDB, Gordon, Richarlison, DCL

Can't remember a time when the starting lineup was so uncertain

Think Pickford, Godfrey, Doucoure and Richarlison are certain starters but the rest could all be changed

Think he will back the experience of Coleman and Keane. Kenny seems to have been doing alright recently

I'm not sure about DCL (could take some time to regain form and sharpness) and instead would consider playing Richarlison, Gray and Gordon up front

Gordon has put in good performances but limited end product - could be worth considering Townsend / Iwobi also for that position

I'm just not sure about Alli - a wildcard who could make a difference, will depend on what they've seen of him in training
