Just stop City from playing.
I agree with this line up, I'd have Lennon on to nullify Kolarov more than pineapple head, then get Del on for the last 30 mins like yesterday. After yesterday, I would like to see the following side - with Besic in to sit on Silva if he is playing or if not then De Bruyne. Del and or Mirallas to be released into the game later on when legs are a bit more tired. Lennon to offer protection to Coleman in dealing with Sterling, as both of them are as quick as him.
-------------------Robles---
Coleman----Stones----Mori----Baines
------------Besic---------Barry---------
Lennon--------Barkley--------Cleverley
------------------Lukaku-----------------
Keep it tight and try and sneak a win to go into the second leg with.
That is a great post that. XxI'm quietly confident for this one. Obviously hoping for a win at Goodison but a draw wouldn't be the end of the world, would mean City having to come at us at the Etihad and that plays into our hands for the counter.
My team:
Joel
Coleman, Funes Mori, Stones, Baines
Barry Besic
Deulofeu Barkley Cleverley
Lukaku
Howard, Lennon, Mirallas, Galloway, Kone, Osman, McCarthy (don't play him till 100% fit possibly in the second leg)
I agree with you there mate good shout that.besic to man mark De Bruyne if both start.
