You know, you are right.

Getting up at 7am, getting in the car at 8am and driving down the M6/42/40, streaming past coaches full of everton fans, reading the flags in the back window, cars with scarves out the windows waving at one another. Its almost like an atmosphere was gathering then, like a March of fellow fans all traveling in the hope of the same outcome.

Stopping at Warwick services and seeing a sea of blue shirts, scarves and hats, people stopping and chatting to one another. All part of the day and build up to the game.

I love going to Wembley to watch Everton (only my 4th time Man Utd Semi, Chelsea Final, RS Semi & This Semi) no matter what the circumstances leading up to the game. The whole event is made better by us and the support that we have for our team.

I honestly cannot remember seeing hardly any united fans traveling down or flags etc marking themselves as supporters.

And the best bit of the day......stood in the fanzone in a sea of blue smoke (almost choking to death bloody toxic things) and remember seeing Jag's on the team sheet on the huge screen on the front of Wembley and the enormous cheer that went around!

We all await some news from Everton, but nothing will ever stop me enjoying going to Wembley to see the Toffees play infront of the best bunch of supporters in the country!!
Great post mate.
Going down there regularly and winning....can't wait :)

Got up at 5am.... flight from Ireland, wembley is some stadium and some atmosphere coming out of wembley central and lookin up wembley way to see the hoardes of blues in full voice making their way up to the ground... fan zone was brilliant beforehand , unfortunately I had to sit in the United end , what a shower of scumbags... but seeing the blue end explode when we scored was some sight ... on the game itself, we got destroyed on the wings, besic was clearly in trouble from 1st minute, dunno why a change wasn't made, I know we are struggling for options but something should've been done, maybe mcarthy or something.... the first half was everything that is wrong with everton under martinez... no fight, lack of fitness, let them walk all over us, no pressure on the ball, and tactically all over the shop... times up bobby

So evident on this pitch aswell!

I work in United heart land, and they have been absolutely fine with me today. Seriously surprised, no gloating, now mouth of any kind.

Just talking about the game, they are ok this lot.

Although 1 very senior bloke swears they should have had a pen and jags red card......I have no memory of the incident at all.

Really ?? I have not heard or read of anyone moaning about it !?!

They seem complimentary, agree we should be doing better and many agree that when we play well, are about the same level as them.

It is correct, but Herrera should also have had a red card for his rugby tackle on Barkley.

Had the game recorded and watched it last night. That second half summed up our season for me, I lost count of how many good chances we fluffed!!

Was really gutted at the thought of losing Rom, not so much now. Yes he's young, bags of potential, but not converting even one of those chances is shocking. Papers claiming we'll get over £60 million for him?!

Stones was ace in the second half, hope we can hold onto him. Under a manager that values and can coach the defensive side of the game he will become world class.

Cleverly seems to do so much really well, only to disappoint with his cross or finishing touch. Wish we could send Barkley to see the Wizard of Oz to request a footballing brain. Besic at RB is the sort of thing you might get away with on FM, but not in a real life cup semi final. If Del could last 90 mins he would be deadly.

That's the season done basically isn't it. As bad as its been there are still promising signs if we can get the next managerial appointment right.

The wait to see us not bottle it, just for once, and actually win something, continues...
