I really hope not. The American commentators said " whatever Martinez said at half time had an impact." The very next sentence was the most likely solution which said "maybe the players have taken it upon themselves to press and play different."

I think that's what happened. They threw out the Martinez way and went for it. Stones played well.

Its feels worse because we had a go and could have won it, I've become so resigned to us being rubbish that I've become a bit numb to it but when we pulled it back to 1-1 I thought it was going to be our day.
