The game would be awful to watch the ball 90% in the air which would of suited us but hey lets play them in great conditions and let them tear us a new one

Where the wind is about 30mph lighter than it was around Liverpool leading up to and around kick off.

Is this true? Can you show me? Not being facetious but I’m genuinely interested

Out of interest what is the wind mph right now at Villa, Hull, Portsmouth etc? Or at Leeds earlier today when they kicked off?

I’m inclined to disagree but you’re entitled to your opinion.
What's to disagree with you've just been told shop signs have been blown off, a huge tree blew down in Mossley Hill, yet you seem to think a game should of gone ahead. You think it's a great idea, considering our ground is right by a park to risk fans lives so you can enjoy the match.

I can only go by looking at the figures on BBC weather and comparing the numbers from when I checked Liverpool this morning to Manchester when you mentioned Old Trafford.

Personally, I think they should have called it last night. Liverpool was Amber warning which, apparently, means the Met Office is certain of the wind speed and disruption. Wales are not far away was Red warning.

The big picture is that with winds in excess of 70 mph there will be heavy debris blowing and with thousands walking the streets the likelihood of something serious happening is very high. Plus it puts unnecessary stress on emergency services who have to go out in dangerous conditions.
