I know but the prospect of having to sit through another season of pure crap is daunting. We basically need 95% of that squad to never see action in the first team this season to do well, so we need a good few signings to bury them in the reserves.

We won't be able to replace all the squad players this window. As long as we get rid of genuine deadwood that don't contribute a thing (Mirallas, McCarthy, Martina, Bolasie), then I'd be fine with someone like Walcott or Schneiderlin warming the bench for another season.
