If Fellaini was the half the player many Blues think he is, we'd be well on top. He's contributed little in the friendlies to date. There are numerous continentals who could do a better job for us and cost only half the transfer fee Fellaini might get us.
Our new type of football won't be best suited for Fellaini. One of those things we may have to accept. Passing is not his strong point, but he will still offer plenty with his winning the ball, breaking things up and general workrate.
