We are so, so close. Brushing the lower sides away with relative ease now.

We just lack a little against our lofty rivals and I believe that problem can be rectified with stronger defenders and perhaps a keeper (though Robles has done OK recently).

Next 2 games will speak volumes as defensive lapses will be punished. We have forwards who can win them though.

Onwards and upwards.

Played a B to B- game, lost Schneiderlin half an hour in, still won 4-0. Take that every day of the week.

Thought Barkley, Davies and Gana were superb today.
Valencia did great when he came on and DCL didn't look out of place.
Have to mention the big man upfront as well

Gana just shades it for MOTM for me. We lost a little bit of momentum when Schneiderlin came off and Gueye made some fantastic tackles/interceptions in the 2nd half to take pressure off the defence.

They were unlucky with the sending off, but we were well worth the win.
