ROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

If the conditions were colder then we would run out 6-7 nil here. I think it will finish 1-4 with veliios and one of the subs scoring. Anichebe has potential to be a big player for us this season, probably won't make the step up though.

No, a manager's job is to make the best side he can with what he has. It's about getting players on the pitch in roles they can fit into, and getting players to form partnerships.

You must be having us on.

I can't believe you don't see it. Ok, so we start next season with a midfield of Arteta, Osman, Fellaini and Barkley, for example, and we have Beckford and Vellios up front. If the youngsters get a couple of goals each, they've done very well. And if everyone else scores as many as they did last season, that's Arteta (3), Beckford (8), Osman (4) and Fellaini (1). Which gives a grand total of 20. With 9 league goals, Cahill scored almost 50% of that total again by himself. You think we can do without it though?

I said it before the match started, this type of opposition is made for Anichebe. He's Championship standard at best and MLS is lower half Championship standard stuff.

It just confirms to me his limitations.

Lads is it just me that's noticed we've got the future England centre mid pairing and they're both Evertonians?

Looking at those stats and the performance this has been a really good away game.

Soaked up the pressure and taken our chances

Yes. More and better support from midfield = more goals from forwards.

Did you just use imaginary future statistics as a basis for an argument?

As I said before, I'm not indulging this anymore. Either you're a footballing genius or you've just got this one wrong. But I'm enjoying tonight and this argument is tarring that.

This is my worry. With a bit more time and space and against physically less imposing defenders, he's shining. Just like he did in Europe.
