Looking at their front 3 last night they will cause us problems, not convinced Keane will cope. Definitely need Godfrey to play and would prefer Mina to Keane, need to get at them from the off. Maybe a back 3, 5 in midfield and Gray supporting Dominic Calvert-Lewin up top….

Pickford
Mina Tyks Godfrey
Coleman Onana Doucs Iwobi McNeil
Dominic Calvert-Lewin Gray
Wait, are you saying DCL is available?
Consider me shocked.

We’re getting close to the last chance saloon with these ‘must win’ home games….. like Wolves, Southampton & Villa, all bottom half teams, and look how they turned out.
The home games we have to focus on are the three played under Dyche. They're the only relevant ones. From them, we won 2 and had the chances to put Villa away too.

There's expectation on Everton for this game - Everton will be thinking it's on Everton to take the game to Brentford.

That expectation and desperation generally doesn't bode well for us.

Against a team who are on an unbeaten run (12) that surpasses our longest ever Prem unbeaten run (11 in 2012).

Everton need to treat Brentford as though they're Man City or Arsenal - do that and we could nick a win. I think if we go into it thinking we can go toe-to-toe and we could lose badly.

Everton wilt under this kind of pressure. We have a manager who has been in this mess before, but these wallflowers havent the mental strength to deal with this, despite last year. Want to be wrong, but they are a house of cards waiting to fold.

hope im wrong. would celebrate a win bigtime!

Surely a must win… Brentford playing well at the minute though.

Do we go Demarai up front again if DCL is still off?
