Everyone is just a bit tetchy mate, im sure when the season starts and sorry to rob your lingo, but when Everton become boss and smash everybody, the love will flow.

Love used to always flow in here, win draw or lose there would be affection, and reasoned debate, and outlandish savory food opinion.
We need to reclaim the forum man, reclaim the forum from the bad ketchup on their breakfast horrors.

Good times.

Once Lescott's gone, it'll be back to usual :)

Cant pretend to have been here from the start, but clearly we have come a long way since the forum started, I suppose peoples expections increase, thats only natural.

From my point of view, ive seen it all, the good times, the bad times, the Smith years, the Walker years and now the Moyes years. I feel we are so close to the top, I dont just mean 5th place, I mean THE TOP. I look at it as a lost chance to regain our place as the best.

Everyone on here wants us to be boss again, it's just that the parameters of the game have changed a lot since last time we were good so a similar pattern is nigh on impossible without massive investment which we don't have.
Lucky we have Moyes to bridge the gap, bit by bit. It's working so far, last year we started giving a game to ze top four, consolodated our place (despite having to make up massive ground after a [Poor language removed] start) and reached a cup final.
Reading some of the comments on here this summer have made me cringe. It could all fall apart next season but it most likely won't, Moyes knows what he's doing.

But people have different viewpoints in life, not just Everton, you cant please all the people all of the time. We have made progress, everybody can see that. But we were told we would get the players in early and get a pre-season in.

Here we are, less than a week before our first game and we still have 4 first team players injured and less players than last season. Maybe we will finish high again and I know its been said every summer. But Spurs cant always fail, City might gel and Villa might show the form they showed for most of last season.

I dont see why we should be looking behind, but given the lack of numbers and the progress made by other teams, thats where I find myself looking. If we could sign 2-3 players of high quality I would be looking infront.

This thread is just over ruled with positiveness.

If there's any more of it, it means Screech is here

My heart says 1-1, but my gut is saying 2-1 Arsenal

Hope i'm wrong though and Cahill bangs in a couple of wonder strikes :)
