I hope this would be a good wake up call to the lads, and as I watched the whole game I has to say Lescott was one of the few player who actually did his job on the day.
We didn't play as a unit and match fitness level still looks low, we need to work on our physical, mental and tactical side things before we play our next game on Thursday.
Yes, we may have lost badly but it's only the first game of the season and just one lost, it's not end of the world - looks what happen today? Spurs beat RS does it mean there title hope are over?
No, is the answer but it certainly makes us feel better seeing them having a bad start as well. It also highlight we are short on number of quality player and the squad depth are low, why is that?
Moyes couldn't make a change by the time we were 2 down, because apart from Striker we don't have experience player who could change the game or be effective for more than 45 mins.
Can't expect Moyes to use Rodwell, Gosling or Duffy unless someone was injure on the pitch or we are force to start one of them due to of injuries. I would expect Moyes to put Rodwell or Gosling on in the last 20~30 mins for experience purpose.
As Moyes already mention about 2 new signing possibly coming in, the next 48 hours I hope it goes smoothly and we did see them by Monday or Tuesday. Let's hope we did sign couple more after these!
