Lampard has just covered his own back by bringing him on for 8 mins despite Maupay doing nothing for 82.

A defeat would have been worse. Wolves, with a new manager, wasn’t going to be easy, still we’ve let ourselves down here by failing to be clinical.

We’ve had enough chances to win today, comfortably.

If it meant the end of the Lampard and his 45 man backroom staff experiment then I'll accept a defeat here. A draw will keep him in his job, which in itself is a disgrace as he's going to take us down or, if left any longer before firing him, will make it too big a task for the next manager to keep us up.
