everyone at the club deserves some blame for the shambles that was yesterday, and the shambles that our season is rapidly becoming

I feel that the season is over for us now. Yesterday was a kick in the teeth in more ways than one. The worst thing for me is that I go and meet a mate of mine for a few pints in Wigan every Tuesday....................

just to bring some kind of a positive note here. i remember the last time I felt the world had ended. we started a game with what we thought was a promising team looking to kick on...we bring in a journeyman centre half to paper over cracks in the defence and avoid bringing in youngsters...90 mins later and dalglish and rush have ripped us apart at Goodison. what happened next, however, did build the foundations for the team that won the league. difference probably was that the manager at the time was scared to death of losing his job if he didn't finally take chances. we have the same players that got to fourth despite awful ref decisions, defending and finishing but not only is Moyes apparently not scared enough of his job going he has been protecting his media legacy for a few years now. notably no-one in the media is crticising him for his obsession with Neville. I can see we must sound like spoilt kids to him and areas of the press but some of us arent expecting millions spent every transfer window all we want to do is to continue spoiling their party with some swagger and a manager who knows when to take a chance. Can Moyes do that?

and January didn't need fer and negredo, experienced cover at centre half and for Gibson could have been all wrapped up before the window opened. when we didn't you had to assume that this displayed confidence in the youngsters. apparently not..as direct result we are sixth when some small changes would have meant we were fourth

Just woke up in a good mood then remembered the result yesterday :( Those who have read my previous posts will know how I feel but yesterday was'nt just a defeat, it was a wake. The moment we all realised things wont ever be the same again. We've had some good memories under moyes and kenwright. Lets not be knee jerk like them dirty kopites next door. Some great games and a squad that was built to challenge the top 4. We were all excited after manchester united on my birthday, opening day of the season but for me, the clincher were moyes realised he wanted a divorce from Everton was january. Lets be honest if kenwright/wrong, had brought in fer and negredo the likelehood is we'd be in the top 4 now and the buzz would have been alot different to pinning our entire season on the wigan game. 12 draws this season shows our need for a class striker so yes, the game was insane yesterday but i guess its been coming. Something had to give and it has.

Im interested in Evertonians views on my next point and it isnt knee jerk. Ive thought long and hard about this all night but I DO NOT ever want Fellaini to pull on the Everton jersey again. Like i said, its not cos he had a bad game yesterday it was the media stuff with his arrogance about leaving etc, its in a few games this season he's been petulant when things have not been going his way but yesterday, he new at 3 nil down were not gonna win a trophy and were not gonna make fourth and for me, he spat his dummy out and let his team mates and the supporters down with his reactions. He wants to go so let him, no one is bigger than the club and as a fan, all i want is players 100% committed week in week out. You think reid, sharp, mountfield, steven, gray would have acted like that.......? WOULD THEY [Poor language removed]

I couldn't agree more about the sentiment of your Fellaini remark, on principal I'd have him playing reserve footy til the summer but by doing that we would slash his market value and lets face it we just can't afford to do that.

We can't afford principles.

Just one of those days.Johnny H was terrified of getting tight on Kone,so it was easy for him to hold the ball up and play in their midfield.Martinez knew it would happen.Game over

Thought I'd throw in some marks out of 10!

Mucha 7 (can't really blame for this one)
Coleman 5
Heitinga 3
Distin 6
Baines 5

Mirallas 5 (isolated)
Osman 4
Neville 2 (if only to differentiate between his performance and Fellaini's)
Pienaar 4

Fellaini 0
Jelavic 6

subs: Anichebe 6, Gibson 5, Barkley 5

Osman should be lower than 4
