Just depressing that after only 4 games our injury situation is that bad that Davies is almost a guarenteed starter.

It is doing his development no good at all as he clearly is not ready, if he ever will be.

And now Colman is a doubt for Saturday, reportedly he has a foot injury, which happened while on international duty.

This is now an important game for us.

Win, maybe even win well, and it has been a decent start to the season, we have something solid to build on and our new and injured/suspended players will be pushing to break into a successful team.

Draw and play badly or even lose and it takes most of the shine off Silva's start to life at Everton.

We need to get behind the lads and be that 12th man for them again - or 11th if we get another sending off!

It’s difficult to win any game in the premier league when half your first team is missing. Richarlison Walcott Gueye Mina Coleman all out. Potentially Bernard and Gomes too. That’s between 5 and 7 players that would be a first choice starter for us missing. Our injury situation continues to remain ridiculous as it is most seasons.

We’ve lost Coleman during it (and it’s not over yet). There’s no confirmation on any of Walcott Mina Bernard or Gomes being fit for West Ham. Currently we have one fewer player than we had available before the break.
