I remember it SO well. I’m still fuming.

At least that was away, and early in the season. I remember under Martinez we played Sunderland at home, who were bottom and effectively dead and buried. If we won we would have gone top 3 or 4. We lost.

I still get flashbacks any time a midfielder drops to take a pass from the keeper. Osman just crumpled in to a heap. Absolutely grim.

This is going to be a totally different test to Spurs. We passed with flying colours at Spurs which was more toe to toe type of game.
West Brom we believe will be very defensive.........we have a new set of keys with Dacoure, Allen and James. Lets hope they are skeleton keys that can unlock stubborn defences. If they can then we are in for a good season. These new keys are also unlocking players in our own team with Richarlison and Digne seeing so much more of the ball. This will be a different test for us. I am confident but still slightly wary

Yes very good point. I think Spurs was a certain type of game; they needed to win, they had pace going forward. The baggies will sit deep and expose our iffy defending on crosses (although Pickford and Keane seem much improved). I do remember Son putting some good balls in which could have meant 2/3 goals. We must avoid giving away set pieces so they can bring up the 7 ft 10 centre halves...

Big game after a satisfying win against a top 6 side, Must win to breed confidence and set us on the right tracks for hopefully a successful campaign if we can breeze past teams like this without pulling an Everton it'll be very good.

And I hope we never act like that. Being narcissistic helmets with no respect for anything but your own deluded vision of yourself is what we refer to as kopite behaviour. And no it doesn’t help your team win games becuase you have a deluded outlook to everything. It just makes the rest of the country despise you for your self indulgence and arrogance.
