Really would like to see an aggressive, dominant performance tomorrow, something to finally banish the "Everton that" syndrome and set our collective confidence levels soaring. Early goals and loads of pressure. We would go top and suddenly the season would really open up.... Carlo would be back operating at the level he is most comfortable with and with the talent we have brought in, the positivity would be terrific.

If we are serious about returning to the big time, this is the kind of game you want to wallop the opposition and send out a message to the fans, the RS media and other teams.

4-0 please and a goal each for the new signings.

Just reading this, let alone thinking about it feels good. Thank you.

Last time I felt positive about blues was El Fraud's first season dining out on Rom and Moyes defence, and Koeman's brief recovery. A lot of water under the bridge since then.

Come on Everton. Hurt these go top.

People need to stop thinking we are BACK, we've won game, a good performance away at a decent club. Yes we are looking positive and confident but its still early days, lets not get ahead of ourselves. once we see the consistency over a month or two, then we can be truly confident!

We all know it would be typical Everton to turn a corner with a performance at Spurs and then bottle the home game v WBA.

I am confident, going for 2-0, dont think it will be as straightforward as some do.

Nothing is straightforward in the PL unless of course refs are giving you penalties for fun...:coffee:

I am extremely confident we will win by three clear goals here.

The last time I was this confident was...erm...never.
