To think we're relying on 7 of the above today, is it really a surprise we're rubbish?

I've been saying I've not recalled one match that Sigurdsson has stood out with. He's in his "favored" position and still looking clueless. This summer might literally ruin this club.

Funny how the fans' remedy is always a slight personnel change and tweak the formation. We need a proper gameplan that the players can learn, and to stop rotating important positions every week.

And it's the players that were gash a few weeks ago being replaced by others, only to be gash this week.

Said it when he took over, absolutely astonishing appointment. Panic appointment which so far has been an utter disaster.

I really would like to see Sig played as an actual midfielder, like he does for Iceland quite often. Maybe then we can connect the front and back? McCarthy was invisible, and I actually might hate Schneiderlin.

Disagree with the bold, but agree with the italics. McCarthy actually presses and tried to link up in attack. Schneiderlin just kinda sits there, and it bothers me a bit. I don't hate Sigurdsson or Rooney, but I hate the way they have been utilized and forced into almost every lineup. I think we also have some promising young talent that deserve a shot in Sigurdsson's position, but they are on the back-burner because of Sigurdsson and Rooney.
