2. Improve his stature
3. Get back into England team
4. Champions League football

I reckon he's betting on himself to achieve more elsewhere.

It's not weird to assume it's more probable than not we'd have performed less well if we had 2 poorer players, out of 11, in the team. It's simple logic.

Better in the 2nd half when we started to put some tempo in to our attacks, valencia was crucial to that and also not a good sign for Holgate, still think he's got a big future ahead of him but he's not got a hope of being a regular modern full back, be great if we need to be a bit more solid away from home or as a CB in a back 3 but just doesn't offer anything going forward.

Last 2 subs though were poor again, Barry played well don't get me wrong but by bringing him on while keeping Schneiderlin and Gana on it just allowed Watford a route into the game whereas before they were getting lucky off low % punts forward, it's one thing killing a game but allowing a team who have offered nothing a chance is a dangerous game.
