Baines has been one of the finest players for us over the past 20+ years. At his peak probably one of the best players in his position in Europe. Yes he’s on the decline and it’s not all his fault as injuries have taken an obvious toll, however he looks well past it now.

Trying not to be too harsh on the lad as, after being such a great servant, he doesn’t deserve pelters.
