It's weird - you look at that side we have today and you think "that's not that bad..." but then you see the wasters actually play and it's proper bottom of the barrel stuff.

Schneiderlin and Gana starting together proves we've done very little to address the balance of this team.

I've got to say that seeing Jagielka and Keane starting at centre half in the last preseason match is one massive failure. I am genuinely fuming we haven't taken care of that situation by now. No time for anyone new to bed in or form a partnership before we are going to expect them to start playing within days whenever we actually manage to sign one.
