Martinez made this disaster - playing that daft **** Osman and benching the best player in the country right now.

A Moyesesque managerial decision.

It was his call to rest Barkley. That wasn't a bad call. This looked to be the best game to give Barkley a rest. Ossies mistake....and he deserves the pelters...but Jags could have been culpable earlier...would he have got the same stick as Ossie ? Probably not.

There's nothing wrong with what Martinez did. Osman isn't crap, he just screwed up. It happens.

He's got every right to play Osman. Hes played that many games and is experienced enough to play.

Osman's just ballsed up badly. Really badly. He was instantly subbed too.

Worst i've seen us play this season by far. And tbd, i had no problem with Osman starting, gives Barkley a chance to come on and be our impact sub - or it would've done had Ozzy not cocked up. He drifts back too much when it should be Barry playing that sweeper role.

Frustrating as hell. I'd actually go 3 at the back (push Barry back) and pack the midfield to give Lukaku some support. Either take Oviedo off and bring Barkley on or leave Oviedo off and drop Pienaar alongside McCarthy. Time to show what we're made of now

At the moment Lukaku is being marked by two centre backs. If we play two up top and have Barkley and Pienaar probing in the hole we could hopefully pull them about and create a bit of space.

easy on osman...Howard did all wrong. Shouldn't pass the ball to Osman in the first time.

Howard isnt blameless. Bad pass . It isnt a surprise its coming from Howard and Osman. Jagielka is an other not far away from a ****up like that . It almost happend in the first 10 minutes.
