Everton v Stoke City

Everybody knows Everton have 11 back for corners, which was fecking pathetic, when we had the 3 strikers, we could have left all 3 back, then Stoke would have had to drop 5 players back to mark us.

maybe its the new players that need to find there place in the team. we need shape to play good football.

I think it may have been Maro who lost Huth in the box. Cahill was closest to him but it wasn't originally his man..

take that heitinga out the team and we`d play free flowing football.

I can't see that, as we all too often haven't done so over the years & on todays evidence he's at least as, if not more, capable of playing football as many of our other players. Having previously been decidedly unimpressed with him at right back & in midfield, I was pleased to see he played quite well alongside Distin. So far, central defence seems to be his best position for us, although it's still early days yet.

to much up his own arss, tryin to dictate play...lost us the game.

In all seriousness, go back and watch again.

He hit Billy on three occasions with cross field passes that would have stopped on a dime. Impressive.

I don't believe he lost us the game either. Last I checked, we had eleven on the pitch.
