I think 'way' out of position is off the mark though imo, he's still playing as a midfielder. When he has the ball at his feet he has to do more

i'd accept that, the manager is killing his play on the wing though, he could still play better there, but it doesn't suit his attributes or instincts at all, leaves us unbalanced

I don't know managers working in England but I know Basel's coach Paulo Sousa. He made a miracle with a Hungarian team now he does that again with Basel. I can imagine that he could do amazing things with Everton because there are some fantastic players just played very-very wrongly. As I've seen his work he'd strengthen the defence first, sort attacking problems out and give incredible amount of self-confidence to the players. I think he suits Everton well. And if there wasn't a WC Besic would now play for Basel, he wanted him badly...
